The Weeknd will embark on his first-ever world tour in 2017 and swing through Atlanta on May 13.

The Starboy: Legend of the Fall 2017 World Tour kicks off Feb. 17 in Sweden, then launches in North America in April.

Tickets for the Atlanta show at Philips Arena will go on sale Nov. 4 via the venue box office, www.livenation.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000. A Citi cardmember pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 1 through its Private Pass Program (www.citiprivatepass.com).

“Starboy,” the third album from the Canadian R&B-pop singer, is slated for release Nov. 25. His 2015 breakthrough, “Beauty Behind the Madness,” has sold more than a million copies and spawned the ubiquitous hits, “Can’t Feel My Face” and “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey).”
