Maxwell and Mary J. Blige will join musical forces this fall for the co-headlining "The King and Queen of Hearts World Tour."

It’s the first time the pair has toured together, and the 24-date outing will stop in Atlanta Nov. 25 at Philips Arena. Maxwell and Blige will also appear on “The View” this Friday.

Tickets for the Atlanta date will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 16, but a series of pre-sales for VIP packages and Citi credit card members begins at 10 a.m. Sept. 14. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, the venue box office or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Prices are TBA (tickets in other markets range from $46-$199).

Maxwell released the second installment of his trilogy, "blackSUMMERS'night," in July, while Blige is wrapping up recording of her 14th studio album.

Every online ticket order will include one CD of “blackSUMMERS’night” and one CD of Blige’s forthcoming album. As well, a portion of proceeds from each ticket will be donated to Artists of Peace and Justice.

Follow the AJC Music Scene on Facebook and Twitter.
