Many Rivers to Cross Festival daily lineup announced, single day tickets on sale

Add Wanda Sykes and Ty Dolla Sign to the massive lineup of entertainers participating in the Many Rivers to Cross Festival Oct. 1-2 at Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills.

The two-day concert and social justice gathering produced by Harry Belafonte’s organization, Sankofa.org , features a starry lineup or about 60 artists including Dave Matthews, John Legend, Carlos Santana, Chris Rock, Public Enemy, T.I., Danny Glover, Macklemore, Jesse Williams, Robert Glasper and Estelle.

In addition to two-day tickets ($130 for general admission, $350 for VIP), single-day tickets are now on sale as well ($85 each day for general admission, $200 each day for VIP). Tickets can be purchased at www.manyriversfestival.com. Gates open at noon each day.

Last month, Belafonte’s daughter, Gina, who is co-director of Sankofa.org, stopped by the Live Lounge at WSB Radio Studio with T.I. to talk with us about the festival. Check out our video of the pair below.

Belafonte also noted that her father, a longtime human rights and political activist (as well as, of course, a renowned musician) who is now 89, intends to be at the festival.

“He’s even been threatening to sing, which I will find fascinating!” Gina Belafonte said with a laugh.
