Beyonce out, Lady Gaga in.

That's the scenario for Coachella this year, as Lady Gaga adds another high-profile event to her 2017 calendar.

Late Tuesday, Gaga tweeted a new version of the Coachella poster with the message, "Let's party in the desert!" She will take over Beyonce's April 15 and April 22 slots at the music festival, which takes place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif.

Beyonce announced last week that she would bow out of her previously announced headlining performances due to her pregnancy.

According to Billboard , festival organizers Goldenvoice and AEG Live are working on plans to bring Gaga's massive stage production to the desert site.
