Jason Aldean will commandeer a massive stage on Saturday when he plays SunTrust Park for the first time.

But in September, the Macon native will return home for a more intimate event.

Aldean will perform at Macon Centreplex Coliseum on Sept. 6 for his third “Concert for the Kids” charity show. His previous two concerts raised more than $1.2 million for the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health. This performance will also benefit the hospital, which is the region’s only dedicated pediatric facility.

“There are a lot of reasons I love doing what I do, but being able to give back to these kids and their families is definitely really important to me," Aldean said. “We’ve been able to help support the build of an entirely new facility, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the community shows up for the hospital this year and what we can do to keep helping the people there."

Tickets for the concert are $36.75-$147 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. July 27 via www.ticketmaster.com and the venue box office.

Aldean will be joined by fellow Georgian Lauren Alaina, who is also performing Saturday at the SunTrust gathering.
