Janet Jackson performed the final date of her “State of the World” tour Sunday in front of a sold-out Philips Arena crowd that included Samuel L. Jackson and Johnny Gill.
After the Atlanta show, she headed to STK in Midtown to celebrate with friends – including Big Boi and her ex-partner, Jermaine Dupri.
According to People magazine , Jackson and Dupri “were cuddled up in a private booth holding hands.”
The couple maintained a seven-year relationship through the early 2000s; they reportedly didn’t have any contact during Jackson’s recently dissolved five-year marriage to businessman Wissam Al Mana, with whom she has a son, Eissa, who turns 1 in January, and spent their time at STK catching up.
The People source said that while Jackson and Dupri aren’t necessarily back together, they are “getting to know each other again.”
Jackson’s Atlanta tour wrap also included a surprise appearance by Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott, who performed on their collaboration, “Burn it Up.”
