A songwriter series spotlighting some of Georgia’s homegrown talent will launch later this month as part of the “Year of Georgia Music.”
Produced by the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Tourism division, the ExploreGeorgia.org Songwriter Series will present intimate performances around the state by artists including Michelle Malone, Pat Alger and Cole Taylor.
A trio of singer-songwriters is set for each performance, which will include the artist telling stories behind a hit song and performing it as originally written.
All shows begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Visit ExploreGeorgia.org/Songwriter-Series for more information and to purchase tickets.
