Back in the early ‘90s, Yanni was regarded as much for his lustrous locks as his intoxicating synthesizer work.
The Greek instrumentalist vaulted to mainstream fame upon the release of “Live at the Acropolis” in 1994, a concert release recorded at a 2013 concert in Athens with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra from London.
Yanni will bring that dose of nostalgia to the Fox Theatre at 7:30 p.m. May 2 with a concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album. Thanks to the folks at the Fox, I have a pair of tickets to give away.
