When the Foo Fighters and The Struts hit the stage Saturday night, it will christen Georgia State Stadium as a concert venue.

Here are some tips to navigate the first-ever concert at the former Turner Field (and home of the Braves), located at 755 Hank Aaron Drive SE in downtown Atlanta.

Tickets: $29-$99. Field level tickets are general admission, and 100-300 levels are reserved seating. The stage will be set up in an end zone.

Ticket entry: All fans (excluding field tickets) can enter via Gates 3, 5-6, 8-10. Fans with 400-level tickets are encouraged to use Gates 5 and 6. Field wristbands can be picked up near Gate 7. Your ticket will be scanned when you pick up your wristband, and you MUST enter the venue via Gate 7 at that time.

Parking: Parking passes for $30 can be purchased in advance at ticketmaster.com through 11:59 p.m. April 27. Fans can also pay to park on event day. Parking is festival style — first-come, first-served, in each lot, which all open at 1 p.m. Overnight parking is not permitted. Handicapped parking is available in the Green and Gold lots on a first-come, first-served basis (state-issued placard or license plate as well as a parking pass for the Green or Gold lots are required for entry).

Other transportation: Georgia State University will run shuttles from the Georgia State MARTA stop (on the blue/green line) to the stadium from 2:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Drop-off and pick-up at the stadium will take place at Gate 9.

Ride-share drop-off and pick-up will be at Gate 10.

A few security tips:

Georgia State Stadium adheres to a clear bag policy (typically clear plastic, vinyl or PVC that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches; 1-gallon clear freezer bags; and small clutch bags with or without handle or strap that do not exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches).

There is no re-entry after leaving the park for any reason.

File these all under NOT ALLOWED: Outside food or beverage; animals (except service dogs); umbrellas; chairs; backpacks or large purses; coolers and picnic baskets; professional camera or video equipment; weapons; fireworks; drugs; remote-controlled vehicles or aircraft; flagpoles.
