Faith Evans' appearance on the Atlanta stop of the Bad Boy Family Reunion tour might be in jeopardy.

Atlanta concert promoter Jeremy Hill and his Middle Georgia Entertainment Group has filed a civil complaint that states  Evans is in breach of a contract she signed to perform at Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Sept. 10.

After signing the contract with Hill, Evans agreed to join the Bad Boy Family Reunion tour, which plays Philips Arena two days prior, on Sept. 8 .

The original contract contains a typical non-compete provision that prevents an artist from performing within a 100-mile radius for a six-month period – specifically March 10, 2016-Sept. 10, 2016 in Evans’ case.

According to the court documents, Evans was paid an advance of $17,500 in December – half of her $35,000 performance fee.

The filing also complains that concert promoter Live Nation, which is handling the Bad Boy tour nationwide, told Evans that they would cancel her participation in the tour if she fulfills the Sept. 10 date at Wolf Creek because the Bad Boy tour has a date that night in Miami.

Hill is seeking $100,000 for special damages he has suffered, including loss of reputation and goodwill among his clients.

In May, shortly after the announcement of the Bad Boy Family Reunion show at Philips, the AJC received an email from a representative at Wolf Creek Amphitheater asking that the names of Evans and 112 be removed from any mentions of the Bad Boy show because they were being being "falsely advertised."

112 is scheduled to perform at Wolf Creek on Saturday with Jagged Edge and Silk and is still listed as part of the lineup for the Sept. 8 Bad Boy performance at Philips.

The email also stated that, “the artists’ management have agreed that they have no contractual obligations to the Bad Boy Family Reunion.”

The Bad Boy tour launches Aug. 25 in Ohio and also includes Puff Daddy, Lil' Kim, Mase and Mario Winans.
