Although 2017 is in its infancy, that hasn’t prevented festival promoters from getting a jump on announcing their prized lineups.

On Tuesday, Coachella boasted its rundown headlined by Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead.

A few prominent Atlanta natives – Future and Gucci Mane - will perform on April 15 and April 22 (the two-weekend fest takes place April 14-16 and April  21-23).

Others on this year's lineup for the event in Indio, Calif., include the xx, Bon Iver, Lorde, Justice, New Order, Travis Scott, Martin Garrix, Father John Misty, Mac Miller and Future Islands.

For a complete schedule and ticket information (they start at $399 for a three-day pass and are on sale now), visit www.coachella.com.

As well, the seventh installment of New York City's Governors Ball Music Festival has a lineup to be trumpeted, too.

Tool will perform its first New York performance in 11 years (with a full set and complete tour production), while Chance the Rapper, Phoenix, Childish Gambino, Lorde, Flume, Wu-Tang Clan, Logic, Wiz Khalifa, Air, Tove Lo and about 60 other artists fill out the June 2-4 weekend.

Tickets for the event, at Randall's Island Park, start at $275 for a three-day pass and will go on sale at noon Jan. 6. For more information, visit www.govball.com.
