Behold! The opening of City Winery is finally upon us.

The oft-delayed new winery/restaurant/venue in Ponce City Market received its certificate of occupancy on Wednesday and will open for its first concert, Todd Snider with Rorey Carroll, on Friday.

All future shows will take place in City Winery ( many were postponed and/or moved as construction delays plagued the inauguration).

Fans attending the first spate of concerts at the new establishment – including comedian/social media star Matt Bellassai on Sunday, Peter Asher and Albert Lee on Tuesday and Gaelic Storm on Wednesday – should take note that the kitchen is serving a limited menu. A full roll-out is expected by June 24.

Tickets for a clutch of new shows are on sale now for Avery Sunshine (Aug. 3), Clarence Bucaro (Aug. 27), Tyrone Wells with Andy Suzuki (Sept. 29), John Hiatt (Oct. 15), Delta Rae (Nov. 13) and Jimmy Webb (Nov. 19).
