Chris Stapleton announces new album, Atlanta concert date

Chris Stapleton has new music on the way and a spring tour date set for Atlanta.

On May 5, Stapleton will release the follow-up to his acclaimed “Traveller” album- and it’s also the same day he’ll perform at Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta (show time is 7 p.m.).

Joining the hirsute country-rock-soul breakout star on his “All American Road Show” outing will be Brothers Osborne, Lucie Silvas, Anderson East, Brent Cobb and Margo Price.

Tickets for the show, priced at $30.75-$70.75, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 24. A pre-sale for Citi cardmembers through its Citi Private Pass Program is underway now. Visit for details.

Stapleton performed at Turner Field following an Atlanta Braves game in May and made his major Atlanta debut in October 2015 with a stellar performance at the Parklife music festival in Piedmont Park.

More information about Stapleton’s upcoming album will be released soon.
