This weekend, the Candler Park Music and Food Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The annual event in the neighborhood Atlanta park (1500 McLendon Ave. NE) is celebrating with a Friday-Saturday gathering of nearly two dozen food vendors (Southern Crust, Lisa’s Creperie, Tex’s Tacos and Bento Bus among them) and a solid musical lineup.

On Friday, the alt-pop group Grand - winners of the Terrapin Battle of the Bands – kicks off the night at 5 p.m. They'll be followed by Atlanta rock duo Larkin Poe (6 p.m.); Keller Williams and his new Tom Petty-inspired project PettyGrass, featuring the Hillbenders (7:30 p.m.); and funk sextet Lettuce (9:15 p.m.).

Saturday brings neighborhood favorite Webster (12:45 p.m.), playing the event for the 10th consecutive time, along with Busty and the Bass (2:15 p.m.); Twiddle (3:45 p.m.); Susto (5:15 p.m.); Houndmouth (7 p.m.); and the Warren Haynes-fronted headliners Gov't Mule (8:45 p.m.).

Tickets: $25 (single day); $35 (both days); VIP ($80, 21 and older only). Tickets are required for those 12 and older. Prices will increase on Friday. Click here to purchase tickets.

Transportation: You know the drill – parking is extremely limited, so take MARTA (the Edgewood/Candler Park Station on the green/blue line is closest). Those using ride share services can pick up and drop off along Candler Park Drive and Miller Avenue. A free bike valet will also be available. Look for the signs upon arrival.

A note about food: Most of the food trucks are cash only. There will be ATMs on site, or otherwise, come prepared.

Bag policy: If you've gone to a stadium event in the past couple of years, this should be familiar. Only bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ will be permitted. Also allowed, a gallon-size clear plastic freezer bag (e.g., Ziploc), small clutch bags no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, and an empty Camelbak with a maximum of two pockets.

On the no-no list: Pets, chairs (of any kind), selfie sticks, umbrellas (again, of any kind), food or beverages, coolers, weapons, glass, fireworks, drugs or, in case you planned to get super comfy, tents.
