A cavalcade of Broadway stars, actors, comedians and recording artists will take the stage at Georgia Tech’s Ferst Center for the Arts for the “Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out!”

The event, created and hosted by SiriusXM Broadway channel host Seth Rudetsky and Broadway/record producer James Wesley, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28.

Performers so far include: Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller ("Beautiful," "Waitress"); singer Melissa Manchester ("Don't Cry Out Loud"); actress Sharon Gless ("Cagney and Lacey," "Burn Notice"); YouTube star Randy Rainbow; TV fixture Kim Fields ("The Facts of Life," "Living Single"); Broadway's Keala Settle ("Waitress"); actor Christopher Morgan ("Meet the Browns"); Atlanta natives Royce Mann ("White Boy Privilege" slam poem), Nora Schell ("Spamilton") and Ryann Redmond ("Bring It On the Musical"); and area students from the international performing arts training institute, Broadway Dreams.

Additional performers are expected to be announced.

Tickets for the show are $25 and available at www.concertsforamerica.com. Proceeds will benefit five national organizations to protect human rights: Southern Poverty Law Center, National Immigration Law Center, The Sierra Club Foundation, NAACP and National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

The concert will also stream on Facebook Live on the Concert for America Facebook page and at www.concertsforamerica.com beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Concert for America began in 2015 when Rudetsky and Wesley formed a non-profit organization to benefit other non-profits that focus on fighting for civil and human rights.

The “Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out!” show debuted as a monthly series at The Town Hall in New York City on Inauguration Day in January.
