The perennial jam band launched its 13-date fall tour last weekend in South Carolina and is settling in for at least a pair of shows at almost all of their tour stops. The guys played Jacksonville for the first time earlier this week. Reviews from the tour note that the band is debuting a handful of tracks from their 13th studio album, “Big Boat,” which arrived Oct. 7.

Rooney
Back when “The O.C.” was one of the must-see shows of the week, these pop-rockers were denting the charts with irresistible tunes such as “I’m Shakin’” and “When Did Your Heart Go Missing.” You can hear some of their influence in the 1975, and the California-bred Rooney readily admit to their own Britpop influences. This year, the band released its fourth album, “Washed Away.”

Bonnie Raitt
It’s been more than four years since the formidable Rock and Roll Hall of Famer visited Atlanta, and the occasion is the recent release of her 20th album, “Dig in Deep.” For fans of her classic catalog, no worries: There are always plenty of tasty slide guitar hits peppering her shows.

Loreena McKennitt
Though much of her music soars with a Celtic or Middle Eastern touch, multi-instrumentalist McKennitt (harp, accordion, piano) is Canadian-born and still resides in Ontario. Her 1997 song “The Mummers’ Dance” became an unlikely radio hit, but McKennitt hasn’t changed her style of culturally informed folk music. Her current tour keeps her in the U.S. through November, and she’ll then hop to Europe in the spring.

When the top-selling Latin rock band of all time visited Philips Arena in June 2015, about 11,000 fans filled the downtown Atlanta venue. Their Latino Power Tour is not only another high-profile run — 18 arenas between September and November — but a call nationwide for Latinos to vote.

Lindsey Stirling
She might play a classical instrument — the violin — but anyone who has witnessed Stirling’s live prowess knows she’s basically a rocker with a bow. Stirling was a quarter-finalist on the 2010 season of “America’s Got Talent,” the same season as Jackie Evancho and winner Michael Grimm. Stirling’s third studio album, “Brave Enough,” was released this summer and features guest spots from Christina Perri, Dan + Shay and Atlanta’s Lecrae, among others.
