FRIDAY

Ja Rule and Ashanti

In the second-to-last date of their joint tour — which the duo modified from being dubbed Natural Born Killers to Natural Born after the spate of violence across the country this summer — Ja Rule and Ashanti will continue to serve plenty of their chart-topping hits together. “Mesmerize,” “Down 4 You,” “Happy” and “Put it on Me” are all expected to appear in their shared performance.

8 p.m. Sept. 9. $40. Buckhead Theatre, 3110 Roswell Road, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.

Brian Wilson

Wilson and his excellent band, as well as former bandmates Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, will perform the Beach Boys' landmark "Pet Sounds" album in honor of its 50th anniversary — and for the last time. Much like Bruce Springsteen's recent tour paid homage to "The River," Wilson will play "Pet Sounds" in its entirety, and follow it with a spate of hits and fan favorites from the Beach Boys and his solo career. Wilson performed at the Fox last June.

8 p.m. Sept. 9. $46.50-$76.50. Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta. 1-855-285-8499, foxtheatre.org.

SATURDAY

One Musicfest

This year’s event tapped Ice Cube and Erykah Badu as headliners, but, for Atlanta music fans, the collection of Dungeon Family members is a standout on the bill. Big Boi, CeeLo Green and Killer Mike are among the performers — all members of the musical collective that helped cement Atlanta’s standing as a hip-hop mecca in the ’90s. The lineup also features Andra Day, Busta Rhymes, Gary Clark Jr., ASAP Ferg, Jazmine Sullivan, Anderson Paak, Free Nationals and BJ the Chicago Kid.

Noon Sept. 10. $55-$125. Lakewood Amphitheatre, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.

Bobby Brown

Last July, Brown took the stage at this south Atlanta venue a few weeks before the death of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina. This year, the R&B singer, who has endured much tragedy in his life, is still on the emotional mend, having released his memoir, “Every Little Step,” earlier this summer and opened up to Robin Roberts about his history of addiction. Brown no doubt will keep the focus of this show on his ’80s and ’90s-era New Jack Swing hits.

With Avant, Next and Color Me Badd. 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10. $35-$95. Wolf Creek Amphitheatre, 3025 Merk Road S.W., Atlanta. 1-877-725-8849, ticketalternative.com.

SUNDAY

Darius Rucker

The genial Hootie & the Blowfish singer, turned country star, is still supporting his 2015 “Southern Style” album on this Good for a Good Time tour. The molasses-voiced singer has four solo albums of country material to draw from, but he still throws in a Hootie tune or two, as well as covers from Blackstreet (“No Diggity”) and Garth Brooks (“Friends in Low Places”).

With Dan + Shay and Michael Ray. 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11. $24.50-$99.50. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park, 2200 Encore Parkway, Alpharetta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.

Rich Robinson Band

In 2015, the Black Crowes officially ended after a 25-year career. But Rich Robinson, like his sibling Chris with his Brotherhood, had invested plenty of time in solo projects for more than a decade. In June, the Marietta native released “Flux,” his fourth solo album, which features guest shots from Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr and Robinson’s former Hookah Brown bandmate John Hogg.

8 p.m. Sept. 11. $28-$36. City Winery Atlanta, 650 North Avenue, Ponce City Market, Atlanta. 615-324-1010, citywinery.com/atlanta.

MONDAY

Kanye West

There's no doubt West's ego remains firmly out of control, but, regardless of your opinion of him, the guy is creative. Early reviews of his Saint Pablo tour, which launched Aug. 25, have focused on his inventive stage; West isn't performing in front of you, but, rather, over you, on a mini-stage suspended from the rafters. While the set list spotlights new material from "The Life of Pablo," he hasn't abandoned fan favorites such as "Gold Digger," "Jesus Walks" and "Touch the Sky."

8 p.m. Sept. 12. $35-$145. Philips Arena, 1 Philips Drive, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
