FRIDAY

Brent Cobb

With his rocker hair and languid delivery, the native of Ellaville, Ga., grabbed the attention of many bluegrass-leaning country fans with his Grammy-nominated “Shine on a Rainy Day.” Though Cobb initially earned praise for writing songs for Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Kenny Chesney, he recently earned a solo spotlight, including opening for Miranda Lambert on the first few dates of her current “Livin’ Like Hippies” tour.

With Savannah Conley. 8 p.m. March 2. Sold out. The Earl, 488 Flat Shoals Ave. SE, Atlanta. 1-877-725-8849, ticketalternative.com

MercyMe

Last year was a busy one for the Texas Christian rockers. They nabbed a trio of GMA Dove Awards (including artist of the year) and topped the Billboard Christian album charts with “Lifer,” their ninth studio album that spawned the hit, “Happy Dance.” This year, the band has even more to anticipate. The film “I Can Only Imagine,” based on the true story-song written by singer Bart Millard, opens March 16.

With Tenth Avenue North. 7:30 p.m. March 2. $17.50-$72. Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta. 1-855-285-8499, foxtheatre.org

SATURDAY

Audra McDonald

The star of Broadway (most recently “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill” and “Shuffle Along”), television (“Private Practice” and the new season of “The Good Fight”) and movies (“Beauty and the Beast”) is hitting the road for a spate of live shows this spring. Armed with her longtime backing trio and a canon of songs from “The American Music Theater,” the multi-hyphenate plans to make it an intimate evening. “It’s about sharing,” she told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a recent interview. “It’s a chance to get to know me outside of all the roles I’ve played. The whole idea is to have a fuller understanding of me.”

8 p.m. March 3. $47-$197. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com

TUESDAY

Graham Nash

The legendary musician and songwriter—whose pedigree includes The Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young—plans to draw from all eras of his massive catalog. Nash will be backed by a guitarist and keyboardist and, as he told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution earlier this week, is looking forward to playing a cozy venue. “I like these small places because it’s really real, and when you strip the songs down to the way they’re written, you find out very quickly if you’ve got a good song,” he said. “There’s nowhere to hide.”

8 p.m. March 6. Sold out (waitlist available). City Winery Atlanta, 650 North Ave., Ponce City Market, Atlanta. 404-946-3791, citywinery.com/atlanta/

WEDNESDAY

ASAP Ferg

The New York rapper released his mixtape, “Still Striving,” last summer, and even after a multi-month road trip to support it, is still touring. ASAP Ferg just launched his “Mad Man” tour to continue championing his latest effort, which features guest spots from Atlanta’s Migos and Lil Yachty.

With Denzel Curry and IDK. 8 p.m. March 7. Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com

THURSDAY

Blake Shelton

The charming star of NBC’s “The Voice” hit the road in mid-February for his “Country Music Freaks” tour, which features the blue-eyed centerpiece along with openers Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and Trace Adkins. Shelton has said that too much time away from the road can break his heart, so he’s crafted a live performance that will be heavy on hits with a few sprinkles of tunes from his latest album, “Texoma Shore.” That album—his 11th studio recording—boasted another No. 1 hit with the romantic, “I’ll Name the Dogs.”

With Brett Eldridge, Carly Pearce and Trace Adkins. 7 p.m. March 8. $21-$224. Philips Arena, 1 Philips Drive, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com
