AthFest 20th anniversary lineup spotlights Atlanta's Arrested Development

The 20th anniversary of AthFest Educates, the music and arts festival in downtown Athens, has unveiled its initial lineup.

The event takes place June 24-26 with indie rockers Family and Friends headlining the outdoor stage June 24, Atlanta hip-hop royalty Arrested Development June 25 and violinist Kishi Bashi June 26.

Atlanta’s revered punk rockers the Black Lips will play an AthFest-affiliated show at the 40 Watt on June 25.

More lineup information will be released soon, with the full unveiling coming May 3.

Wristbands for the Club Crawl shows are available at www.athfest.com for the early bird price of $20 (through April). Prices will increase to $25 in May and $30 in June.
