In case you missed it, here's the AJC's Facebook Live session from the front porch of the derelict house that we featured in our story Nobody Home: How legal corporate secrecy harmed one Atlanta neighborhood.

The location was 1045 Ashby Grove, located in the Ashview Heights neighborhood. The company that owns it is Ilimite, LLC a shell company that bought a handful of properties in 2012 and then disappeared.

The house is now a crime magnet and a health hazard. When I stopped by on a recent Thursday afternoon, I interrupted a prostitute and her customer.

Georgia law helps companies dodge corporate accountability because it does not require limited liability companies like Ilimite LLC to disclose the identities of those responsible for the decisions of the company.
