Lassiter holds the top spot in the state’s highest classification, and a shuffle of the top 10 leaves Milton at second. Lassiter defeated Etowah 4-0 on March 2. Former No. 2 Parkview settles to fourth. Mill Creek holds the No. 3 spot, and Walton (No. 5) rounds out the top five.

Johns Creek is coming off a 5-0 thrashing of Northgate on March 2 and is the team to beat in Class AAAAAA with Harrison, Sequoyah, Dacula and Lee County rounding out the top five. No. 2 Harrison defeated Dalton 10-0 on March 2 to state its case as the top team in the classification.

McIntosh is on top again in Class AAAAA with Flowery Branch, Veterans, Decatur and Starr’s Mill filling out the top five. The defending champion Lady Chiefs defeated Columbus 2-0 on March 2 and Pace Academy 4-0 on Feb. 22 in its most recent games.
