After several slip-ups last week, North Gwinnett falls to No. 3 and Parkview takes back the top spot in Class AAAAAAA; North Paulding falls from No. 5 to No. 10 in the top class. Dalton and Greenbrier both fall out of the Class AAAAAA rankings as Houston County and Northgate debut at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. The first four of Loganville, Wayne County, Carrollton and Buford stayed the same in Class AAAAA. Class AAAA No. 1 Blessed Trinity continues its dominance, winning the prestigious Perfect Game Showdown event over the weekend in Emerson; No. 2 Troup County and No. 3 Cartersville both performed well at the showcase, and Troup defeated previous Class AAAAAAA No. 1 North Gwinnett.
Redan and Lovett split two games last week, so they remain No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in Class AAA. GAC and Pace Academy fall out of the rankings as Cook and East Hall break in. In Class AA, Jeff Davis drops to No. 2 and Thomasville takes over at No. 1. Class A-Public stays largely the same with Charlton County and top, and ECI breaks in at No. 10 while Commerce falls out. Class A-Private stays the same through the first four teams with Mount Paran on top for the second week in a row.
