Here’s what went down in Round 2:

No. 1 Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy 59, No. 17 First Presbyterian Day 7
No. 8 Wesleyan 45, No. 9 Pinecrest Academy 8: Wesleyan led 38-0 in the fourth quarter before Pinecrest got on the board, piling up 523 yards of total offense. Wolves quarterback Banks Ramsey had three passing touchdowns and one rushing, accounting for 353 yards of total offense (219 pass, 134 rush). Two of Ramsey's touchdown passes went to Harrison Cook, while his third of the night went to Grant Frerking. Mateo Rengifo hit a 34-yard field goal right before halftime to give host Wesleyan a 24-0 lead at the break, and George Bielan (4 yards) and JD Kavel (62 yards, last play of the game) also rushed for scores. Cornerback Jason McCleskey had three pass breakups, and linebacker John Morris had 10 total tackles.

No. 4 Calvary Day 10, No. 13 Savannah Christian 7: Calvary Day defeated Savannah Christian for the second time in its last two games. After defeating the Raiders 28-14 in the season finale, the Cavaliers took a first round bye. Calvary Day jumped to a 7-0 halftime lead before holding off Savannah Christian’s comeback attempt.
No. 5 Tattnall Square Academy 13, No. 12 Stratford Academy 7: After beating Stratford Academy 7-3 in the regular season, Tattnall Square edged Stratford in another low scoring game. An Ahmad Barron third quarter touchdown run proved to be the difference as the Trojans ran out of time on their final drive of the game. Antoine Davis scored from seven yards out and Ahmad Barron ran home a 22-yarder. Stratford's lone score came on a 69-yard Noah Hill run in the first quarter.

No. 2 Prince Avenue Christian 55, No. 18 Mt. Pisgah Christian 13: The Wolverines raced out to a 41-0 halftime lead behind three Grant Roland touchdown passes and two Thomas Huff touchdown runs. Roland ignited the rout with a 77-yard touchdown strike to Christian Parrish. Roland added a 10-yarder to Parrish and a 66-yarder to Noah Campbell. Thomas Huff ran in touchdowns of 26 and 53 yards. Sam Wessinger went 42 yards to the house while Campbell and Dalton Owens scored on runs of six and three yards respectively.
No. 7 Landmark Christian School 13, No. 10 Darlington 12: Landmark got the ball after a punt touchback with five minutes to play, embarking on an 80-yard touchdown drive capped by a 25-yard touchdown pass from Joey Blount to Nick Toomer with under three minutes left. Landmark's two-point try was unsuccessful, but Darlington's final drive ended with an interception at midfield by Toomer, allowing Landmark to run out the clock. Darlington had built a 12-7 lead in the third quarter after getting a safety. Lofton Tidwell scored Landmark's first touchdown on a 15-yard run. Tidwell also caught a long Blount pass to help advance the War Eagles' winning drive.

No. 3 Fellowship Christian 38, No. 14 George Walton Academy 7: George Walton scored the game’s first touchdown on a halfback pass, but Fellowship scored 38 straight points to win going away. Fellowship quarterback Jack Hardin was 7-of-14 passing for 164 yards and three touchdowns, two to Ryan Reid. Hardin rushed for touchdowns of 18 and 6 yards, finishing with 62 yards rushing. Reid had six catches for 145 yards and touchdowns of 65 and 47 yards, and Andrew Minkert led the team with 100 yards rushing. Hardin’s first touchdown pass was to tight end Trevor Lewis. Garrett Depew was perfect on extra points and capped scoring with a 21-yard field goal.
No. 6 Mt. Paran Christian 17, No. 11 Athens Academy 10: Athens Academy held a 10-0 lead at the half but Mt. Paran Christian scored 17 unanswered points in the second half. It was the Eagles' first win over the Spartans in four games.

No. 1 Macon County 47, No. 17 Turner County 37
No. 8 Manchester 39, No. 9 Twiggs County 18: The Blue Devils built a 26-0 third quarter lead and never looked back. Tra Gamble scored three touchdowns on runs of 3, 33 and 42 yards to lead the way for Manchester.
Quarterfinals: No. 8 Manchester at No. 1 Macon County
Lower Left Brackett
No. 4 Emanuel County Institute 49, No. 13 Miller County 14: Host Emanuel County Institute outscored Miller County 14-8 in the second half after jumping out to a 35-6 lead.
No. 21 Irwin County 34, No. 5 Mt. Zion-Carroll 17: This game saw lots of action with no score until deep into the second quarter when Mt. Zion scored on a 73-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Akin to Jace Jordan. Irwin County would score before the quarter ended and Mt. Zion clung to a 10-7 halftime lead. Irwin County outscored the Eagles 27-7 in the second half to become the lowest seeded team left on either the public or private side.

Upper Right Brackett
No. 2 Clinch County 54, No. 15 Mitchell County 14: This second round match was over soon after it began. Clinch County got on the scoreboard first with an 11-yard touchdown by Charles McClelland. Mitchell County responded with a 62-yard touchdown run by Kentravius Williams. To take the lead for good Clinch’s Trezman Marshall scored on a 4th and 1. Clinch County would score five more touchdowns to Mitchell’s one before the final buzzer. McClleland ran for two touchdowns and threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jerrod Jones. Marshall had seven tackles and three touchdowns while also completing a 40-yard touchdown pass to Jones. Mitchell County’s Williams had six carries for 98 yards and a touchdown.
No. 7 Commerce 35, No. 10 Taylor County 20: Heading into the fourth quarter up just a point at 21-20, Commerce chipped away in the final frame to seal the deal 35-20. Cole Chancey's second touchdown of the game, a 46-yarder with 1:17 remaining, put the game away. Chancey scored on a 1-yard run and a 46-yarder. Will Thomas scored on touchdown runs of 15 and three yards. Lane Sorrow broke through for a 4-yarder. Taylor County received two short touchdown runs from Lyn-J Dixon. Gunnar Watson tossed a 1-yard touchdown to Tri-Kevion Hadley as time expired heading into the half.
Quarterfinals: No. 7 Commerce at No. 2 Clinch County
Lower Right Brackett
No. 14 Greene County 55, No. 3 Pelham 40: Greene County took a 27-14 lead into the half before outscoring Pelham 28-26 in a competitive second half.
No. 6 McIntosh County Academy 14, No. 11 Lincoln County 7: McIntosh County Academy took a 14-0 lead at the half before sealing the road win.
