Top performances from Week 5: Reed steps up for Elbert County

Elbert County was missing its star player, injured QB Mecole Hardman, for a game against Laney last week, but Rantious "Boochie" Reed took the stage by storm, scoring five touchdowns and assisting on the sixth.

"Boochie is a really good all-round football player, a throwback of two-way players," Elbert County coach Sid Fritts said. "Not many of those left, and he has a great football IQ."

Reed is 5 feet 9 inches and 185 pound, and he's getting attention from some smaller Division I schools.

Here is a look at some of the top performances from last week.
