Things to know: Callaway is 12-0 for the first time in school history and playing in its third quarterfinal (1-1 in previous appearances). The Cavaliers advanced last week with a 28-14 victory over Brooks County, its second-closest game of the season. QB Dylan Johnson passed for 200 yards and two touchdowns to Braylon Sanders (six catches, 137 yards). CB Dominic Copeland had two interceptions. Screven County is in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2002 and fourth time overall. Screven County did not complete a pass in its 28-20 victory over Douglass last week, but RB C.J. Wright rushed for a season-high 184 yards and three touchdowns. He has 917 yards and 19 TDs for the season. The Gamecocks average 236.2 yards rushing and 104.4 passing.

Things to know: Pepperell has its first 10-win season since 2008, which was the last time the Dragons had reached the quarterfinals. Tae Hammond rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns and Trevor Thomas passed for 148 yards and two scores in a 35-14 victory over Dodge County last week. The Dragons have held 10 of 11 opponents to 14 points or less. Benedictine is the heavy favorite to win its second state title in three seasons. The Cadets have held 10 opponents to eight points or less and won their two playoff games by a combined score of 107-7. RB/WR John Wesley Kennedy (2,121 all-purpose yards) is the team's leading rusher and receiver and returned two punts for touchdowns in a 49-0 win over Banks County last week.

Records, rankings: Rabun County is 11-0, the No. 1 seed from Region 8-AA and No. 4; Fitzgerald is 11-1, the No. 1 seed from 1-AA and No. 2.

Things to know: Rabun County advanced to the quarterfinals for the second consecutive season and third time in school history with a 42-7 victory over Vidalia. QB Bailey Fisher passed for 248 yards and rushed for 123. He has 2,442 yards passing, 917 yards rushing and a combined 48 touchdowns for the season. Cal Drummond has run for 1,501 yards and 16 TDs. Fitzgerald's J.D. King ran for 166 yards and a touchdown in a 48-21 victory over Rockmart last week. He is the leading rusher (181 carries, 1,449 yards) for a team that gets 71 percent of its offense from the running game (285.7 per game). Both teams average more than 400 yards per game in total offense.

Records, rankings: Chattooga is 8-4, the No. 3 seed from Region 7-AA and unranked; Hapeville is 9-3, the No. 1 seed from 6-AA and No. 10.

Things to know: Chattooga is the only team remaining in the AA field that is not a No. 1 seed. The Indians were 0-11 all-time in state playoff games until beating Lamar County 44-14 and Washington County 38-7 this year. Chattooga averages 324.9 yards per game rushing and 40.7 passing. Twins Isaiah and Isaac Foster have combined for 2,713 yards and 30 TDs rushing. The best season in Hapeville's six-year history continued with a 14-6 victory over Jefferson County in the second round. The Hornets were 14-29 in their first five seasons and never made the playoffs. Hapeville's best-known player is DB William Poole III, a Georgia commitment who is the No. 20 senior recruit in the state in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
