Class AAAAAA

1. (1) Colquitt County (8-0)

Last week: Beat Valdosta 48-20. Sihiem King rushed for 302 yards and scored on runs of 11, 70 and 37 yards. He also had an 82-yard run. Colquitt can clinch the No. 1 seed in Region 1 with victory in either of its final two games. Next: Oct. 31 at Tift County (6-2)

2. (2) Grayson (8-0)

Last week: Beat Central Gwinnett 28-0. Camryn Brent rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries, and Grayson forced three turnovers. Chase Brice was 9-of-14 passing for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday at Dacula (7-0)

3. (5) Dacula (7-0)

Last week: Beat Brookwood 35-29. Dacula rushed for 402 yards as a team, led by C.J. Mayes' 148 yards on nine carries. Jakob Brashear ran for 91 yards on six carries, scored a touchdown and made a game-clinching interception. Next: Friday vs. Grayson (8-0)

4. (6) Hughes (6-1)

Last week: Beat South Cobb 20-13. Hughes scored its first touchdown on a fourth-and-8 pass from Isaiah Green to Montavious Atkinson, then went up 14-0 shortly after South Cobb fumbled the ensuing kickoff. Hughes held South Cobb QB Kylil Carter to 116 yards passing (18 of 35 attempts). Next: Friday vs. Westlake (5-1)

6. (NR) Lee County (6-1)

Last week: Beat Lowndes 42-30. Lee County took a 35-14 lead into halftime, and Lowndes never got it closer than 11 points. QB Garet Morrell was 23-of-39 passing for 224 yards and three touchdowns. WR J.Q. Quimbley had 13 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown and threw a 60-yard TD pass. Next: Oct. 31 at Camden County (5-3)

7. (3) Valdosta (7-1)

Last week: Lost to Colquitt County 48-20. Valdosta was within 20-12 in the third quarter, but Colquitt County scored the next three touchdowns. Valdosta had allowed only 44 points in its first seven games. Next: Oct. 31 vs. Lowndes (6-2)

8. (7) Milton (6-1)

Last week: Beat Walton 20-17. Ethan Suda kicked a 36-yard field goal with 1:05 left to break a 17-17 tie. Milton had trailed 17-3 in the third quarter after giving up points on a blocked punt and a muffed punt. Next: Friday at Woodstock (5-3)

9. (9) McEachern (5-2)

Last week: Beat North Paulding 60-34. Bailey Hockman passed for 312 yards and four touchdowns, and McEachern led 46-14 at halftime. Next: Friday at Kennesaw Mountain (3-4)

1. (1) Ware County (7-0)

Last week: Beat Effingham County 36-6. Ervin Nard and Kent Jackson returned interceptions for touchdowns on Effingham's first two possessions, and Ware led 29-0 at halftime. Ware ran only 37 plays and had 286 yards. Next: Friday at Statesboro (2-5)

2. (2) Coffee (7-1)

Last week: Beat Brunswick 35-20. Coffee's lead was only eight points in the fourth quarter until Anthony Fussell returned a kickoff 90 yards and Jay Lott ran an interception 40 yards for a score, making it 35-13 with 4:27 left. Next: Oct. 31 at Richmond Hill (2-5)

3. (3) Kell (7-0)

Last week: Beat Riverwood 24-3. Ivan Walls rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Riverwood had only 18 yards passing and scored its only points after a kickoff return into Kell territory. Next: Friday at North Atlanta (1-6)

4. (4) Allatoona (8-0)

Last week: Beat Hiram 35-21. Conner Larson passed for 193 yards and three touchdowns, all to Zach Nichols. Russell Halimon had 130 yards rushing on 22 carries. Allatoona led in total yardage only 368-345, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. Next: Friday vs. Paulding County (3-4)

5. (5) Carver-Columbus (6-1)

Last week: Beat Shaw 32-16. Juwon Pass threw two TD passes, one for 22 yards to Robert Henderson on the final play of the third quarter to make it 20-10. The next one came early in the fourth, a 65-yard strike to Nate Barley. Carver's Isham Alexander rushed for 104 yards. Next: Friday vs. Harris County (5-2)

6. (6) Lanier (7-0)

Last week: Beat Heritage-Conyers 49-20. Ashton Barnes rushed for 106 yards on six carries. Lanier led 42-7 at halftime. Next: Friday vs. Salem (5-2)

8. (8) Creekside (6-2)

Last week: Beat Tri-Cities 37-21. Bricen Terry rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Creekside clinched its 20th consecutive winning season. Next: Friday vs. Banneker (0-7)

Last week: Beat Druid Hills 54-20. Stephenson led 41-0 at halftime. Dewann Ford was 10-of-15 passing for 168 yards and threw TD passes to Isaiah Zuber, Cortese Logan and Dexter Neal. Next: Friday vs. M.L. King (1-6)

10. (10) Northside-Warner Robins (6-1)

Last week: Beat Warner Robins 24-21. Willie Jordan rushed for 249 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries for Northside, which had only four yards passing. Warner Robins was denied a chance to have back-to-back wins in the series for the first time since 1994-95. Next: Saturday vs. Grovetown (3-4)

1. (1) Buford (7-0)

Last week: Beat Monroe Area 51-12. Xavier Gantt rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on six carries against winless Monroe Area. Next: Friday at North Oconee (5-2)

2. (2) Sandy Creek (7-0)

Last week: Beat Troup 31-21. Sandy Creek trailed 13-10 at halftime and led only 24-21 in the final two minutes when Josh Greene returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown. Eric Swinney rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries. Next: Friday vs. Woodward Academy (6-1)

3. (3) Griffin (7-0)

Last week: Beat Spalding 46-13. Anforne Stroud was 21-of-25 passing for 220 yards and four touchdowns. Malik Miller scored three touchdowns, giving him 20 on the season. Griffin is 7-0 against Spalding, its country rival. Next: Friday at Pike County (1-6)

4. (4) Cartersville (6-1)

Last week: Beat Northwest Whitfield 44-3. Freshman QB Trevor Lawrence passed for 400 yards and three touchdowns, completing 17 of his 33 passes. Tiamon Pennymon scored four touchdowns, three receiving, and had 212 yards from scrimmage. Next: Friday vs. Southeast Whitfield (5-2)

5. (8) Cairo (6-1)

Last week: Beat Thomas County Central 36-13. Cairo led in total yardage only 217-212 but forced eight turnovers and won easily, giving the Syrupmakers the inside track in Division A of Region 1. Next: Friday at Monroe (4-3)

6. (6) Woodward Academy (6-1)

Last week: Beat Fayette County 35-7. Elijah Holyfield returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown for the third time this season, this one 73 yards, and also rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Next: Friday at Sandy Creek (7-0)

7. (7) Marist (7-1)

Last week: Beat Grady 43-14. Next: Friday vs. Columbia (5-2)

8. (9) St. Pius (5-2)

Last week: Beat Chamblee 45-14. Ransom Klinger rushed for a team-leading 74 yards and a touchdown on seven carries and scored on an 80-yard kickoff return for a 37-7 lead in the third quarter. St. Pius allowed only seven first downs and 123 yards in total offense. Dalton Wilson scored on a 35-yard interception return 17 seconds into the game. Next: Friday at Arabia Mountain (3-4)

9. (10) Mary Persons (6-1)

Last week: Beat Upson-Lee 42-0. Mary Persons scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to break the game open. Dee High rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. Upson-Lee was held to less than 100 yards in total offense. Next: Friday vs. Veterans (1-6)

10. (5) Thomas County Central (5-2)

Last week: Lost to Cairo 36-13. Thomas Central suffered eight turnovers and lost to Cairo for the first time since a 2010 overtime defeat. Next: Friday vs. Crisp County (2-5)

1. (1) Washington County (7-0)

Last week: Beat Butler 52-14. Washington County led 52-0 at halftime. A.J. Gray scored three touchdowns, one on an interception return. Next: Friday at Josey (1-7)

3. (3) Blessed Trinity (7-0)

Last week: Beat Westminster 23-11. Conor Davis (10-of-20 for 171 yards) threw TD passes of 78 and 14 yards to TE/LB Pat Jasinski, the last one with 11 seconds left and the score 16-11. Mitch Rostowsky made three field goals, including a 53-yarder that made it 16-0 in the third quarter. Next: Thursday at Washington (4-3)

Last week: Beat East Jackson 63-0. Sammy Williams scored four touchdowns and rushed for 135 yards, more than East Jackson's total in offense (113). Next: Oct. 31 vs. Oconee County (7-0)

Last week: Beat Jackson 52-17. Robert Allen was 11-of-15 passing for 169 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Last week: Beat Holy Innocents' 42-13. QB Willie Candler was 10-of-14 passing for 173 yards and three touchdowns, two to Jon Thomas, and also scored a pair of touchdowns. Lovett had five sacks and allowed only 94 yards in total offense through three quarters, after which Lovett led 42-7. Next: Friday at Wesleyan (5-2)

4. (4) Benedictine (5-2)

Last week: Lost to Vidalia 35-28. QB Stevie Powers was 15-of-23 passing for 197 yards but was intercepted twice. Benedictine led 21-14 at halftime. The loss was the first for Benedictine at home since 2011 (Beach), a streak of 14 wins. Next: Friday vs. Groves (5-2)

5. (6) Thomasville (5-3)

Last week: Beat Berrien 51-36. Jalandin Jones rushed for 222 yards and two touchdowns, and QB Kenneth Hayes ran for 110 and two. Hayes also passed for 111 yards. Thomasville is 20-1-1 all-time against Berrien. Next: Oct. 31 at Brooks County (5-3)

6. (7) Fitzgerald (6-1)

Last week: Beat Brooks County 57-29. Fitzgerald had 606 yards in total offense, 521 rushing, led by QB Gerald Morgan (31 carries, 223 yards, four touchdowns) and sophomore FB J.D. King (29-210-2). Brooks County was within 34-29 entering the fourth quarter but was outscored 23-0 from there. Next: Friday vs. Pelham (3-4)

Last week: Beat Bleckley County 28-0. Macon County got its first shutout of the season and held Bleckley to 133 yards of total offense. Sophomore DB Curtavious McDonald had two interceptions, and LB Joseph Daniels had three tackles for losses. Sophomore RB Jared Daniels rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries. Last week: Beat Hawkinsville 13-6. Lorenzo Smothers scored on a 9-yard run with less than eight minutes left for a 13-6 lead. Marion held Hawkinsville to 125 yards in total offense. Marion QB Dustin Eckert was 9-of-12 passing for 119 yards and one touchdown. Next: Friday at Greenville (4-3)

3. (3) Mount Paran Christian (7-0)

Last week: Beat Christian Heritage 45-9. Jake Allen was 5-of-8 passing for 163 yards and four touchdowns, three to Emoni Williams. Dorian Walker rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Garret Harris had five tackles for losses. Next: Friday vs. Trion (4-3)

4. (4) Calvary Day (7-0)

Last week: Beat Portal 49-0. Robert Heyward rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries, almost entirely in the first half, at which Calvary led 35-0. Portal was held to four first downs and 116 yards in total offense. Next: Friday vs. Claxton (6-1)

Last week: Beat First Presbyterian 28-14. Tattnall attempted only two passes, but completed both, including a 37-yarder from Ian Herndon to Ahmad Barron that made it 28-7 in the third quarter. J.J. Battle rushed for 1134 yards on eight carries. Jonathan Ward ran for 97 on 21. Next: Friday at Twiggs County (0-7)

Last week: Beat Wilcox County 22-0. Jimmy Nettles passed for 152 yards, and Charlton held Wilcox to 116 yards in total offense and intercepted three passes. Next: Friday at Telfair County (5-2)
