Four Questions with McIntosh County Academy coach Robby Robinson

GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Robby Robinson, McIntosh County Academy

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach?"Washington-Wilkes 2012 beating rival Lincoln County and Larry Campbell. It broke a losing streak for Washington-Wilkes against Lincoln County. My son Buck was our quarterback and threw two TD passes, and it was my 100th career win, on Lincoln County's field."

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why?"Charlie Jordan, my high school coach [at old Shamrock High in DeKalb County] for one season in 1977, made an immediate impact on me. He came in as defensive coordinator my ninth-grade season, and I can still remember his opening statement. He had me right there in his hand! He gave me my first job at Shiloh, and I worked for him for four years. A very underrated coach that teaches life lessons. Charlie Jordan is a great man!"

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach or favorite saying/motto?"Favorite Motto: 'Total Commitment.'"

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed?"Total split between public and private schools."
