Daily List: Week 5 games with the biggest recruiting appeal

ajc.com

With the help of Loren Maxwell, GHSF Daily has devised a system to rate games based on their appeal to those interested in college recruiting. There are 22 games scheduled this week in which both teams have at least one player among the 321 who are included in the 247Sports Composite ratings. The formula adds up the ratings of those players on each team, then multiplies the sums of the two teams. That means that a game between a team with 10 prospects and a team with one prospect won't rate as highly as a game with two teams with five prospects each. Balance is valued. This week's top game is Archer vs. Norcross. Archer has six 247 prospects, led by junior CB Andrew Booth (rated .9171). Norcross has three, led by DT Nazir Sy (.8556), who is committed to Western Kentucky.
