Avenging a regular-season loss in the semifinals has become a thing lately. McIntosh County Academy became the sixth team in four years to do it and 15th all-time. MCA's reversal of a 32-7 loss against Clinch County on Aug. 26 to a 24-8 victory on Friday is the starkest turnaround of the 15.
