Tech signing day is here

Happy Signing Day!

Georgia Tech is expected to bring in 20 signees Wednesday with a couple possible late surprises. Four of them are already in the fold as early enrollees – cornerback Step Durham, defensive end KeShun Freeman, linebacker Tre Jackson and quarterback Matthew Jordan.

There will be plenty to dig into, like the expected signing of Georgia Military College defensive end Kenderius Whitehead, and the signing day announcements of defensive tackle Mike Sawyers and running back Myles Autry of Norcross High.

For the first time, Tech will produce its own ESPN3 show that will begin at 8:30 a.m. that is expected to run for about 2 hours.

I personally won’t be filing a lot of updates Wednesday morning for ajc.com, but the following is a primer on how we’ll be handling the action.
