Georgia Tech has another cornerback committed to its 2017 signing class, adding McEachern High’s Jaytlin Askew on Thursday.

Askew made the announcement from his Twitter account, saying that he chose Tech because “I want to go somewhere I can guarantee a stable lifestyle” whether through the NFL or a job outside of football.

Askew, rated by 247 Sports as a three-star cornerback, is the sixth commitment of the class and the fifth to join in the past two weeks. He is the second cornerback, joining Da'Meon Williams of Norcross High. Askew's offer list, according to his 247 Sports page, is considerable – Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Oregon, UCLA, LSU and Michigan State were among those listed.

Askew hails from the same high school as incoming freshman Ajani Kerr, who signed with the Yellow Jackets in February and has begun the summer orientation program at Tech.
