Former Georgia Tech safety Isaiah Johnson’s solid showing at his pro day last Friday has already paid dividends.

The Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots have all gotten in touch with Johnson or his agent following his performance at Tech’s pro day.

“I’m just glad that I opened up some eyes,” Johnson said Thursday.

Johnson, who set a school record for tackles by a defensive back with 283 career stops, was timed in the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds and also showed well in position drills. Particularly given that Johnson wasn’t invited to the combine or an all-star game after the season, interest could grow as teams may want to take a second look after his pro day.
