On the heels of its worst season since 1994 and with an upcoming home schedule that doesn’t compare to 2015, Georgia Tech will not raise its season-ticket prices from last season.

The base price for the least expensive season ticket for the seven-game home schedule is $245, which is what it was for 2014 (a six-game home schedule) as well as last season (seven games). Lower-level seats start at $350.

Tech Fund contribution levels accompanying the tickets have likewise stayed nearly static, deputy athletic director Brett Daniels said Wednesday. They will remain the same for about 75 percent of the seat locations in Bobby Dodd Stadium with a 2 to 3 percent increase in the remainder of the stadium. They range from $100 to $850.

Season-ticket renewals began last week. Regarding renewal rate, Daniels said that “we’d love to be in that 90 percentile again.” The rate was in the mid-90’s last season following the Yellow Jackets’ 11-win season and a home schedule highlighted by games against Florida State and Georgia. Including student season tickets, the total was more than 33,500, the highest since 2009.

Tech’s home schedule for 2015 includes non-conference games against Mercer, Georgia Southern and Vanderbilt and ACC games against Clemson, Miami, Duke and Virginia. The release of the ACC schedule is expected in the near future.
