Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory and staff are hard at work trying to land a graduate transfer. At least three players have interest in the Yellow Jackets, according to reports.

Villanova guard Dylan Ennis, Providence forward Tyler Harris, Alabama guard Ricky Tarrant and Coppin State guard Sterling Smith have all been linked to Tech. Smith, in fact, is reportedly making a visit to Tech Friday.

Tech has one open scholarship for the 2015-16 season. As graduates at their schools, each would be immediately eligble.

Smith was named to the All-MEAC second team this past season, averaging a team-high 13.9 points and 4.9 rebounds for the Eagles. Perhaps of particular interest for the Jackets is that Smith, from Chico, Calif., shot 41.8 percent from 3-point range. Tech was 343rd in the country out of 345 Division I teams last season in 3-point field-goal percentage at 26.7 percent.

Ennis, from Brampton, Ont., averaged 9.9 points and 3.5 assists and started all 36 games for the Wildcats. His next destination will be his third school, as he began his career at Rice. Ennis shot 41.7 percent from the field and 36.3 percent (58-f0r-160) from 3-point range.

The same is true of Tarrant, who played two seasons at Tulane before jumping to Alabama. He considered Tech when leaving Tulane. He is leaving Alabama in the wake of coach Anthony Grant’s firing. Tech is among at least 11 schools that he is considering, according to ESPN. Tarrant, from Pleasant Grove, Ala., scored 13.1 points per game, but missed the last 15 games with a rupture of his plantar fascia.

Harris, from Dix Hills, N.Y., is also headed to his third school. He played at N.C. State for one season before going to Providence. Harris started 35 games as a sophomore but made only 12 starts in 34 games this past season, when he averaged 9.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Providence made NCAA tournament appearances each of the past two years. He shot 43.3 percent from the field and 31.8 percent (21-for-66) from 3-point range. He is also considering at least 11 schools, according to ESPN.
