Wet weather may make weekend traffic worse

A traffic study for the $1 billion project to add HOT lanes to I-75 shows that overall it will help drivers in the regular lanes, but in a few spots it could make traffic in the regular lanes worse. Northbound traffic on I-75 just south of Big Shanty Road is projected to get worse if the project is constructed. Bob Andres bandres@ajc.com
