Metro Atlanta road construction this weekend

Sunday's Falcons-Packers game isn't the only thing that could generate traffic snarls this weekend. There's plenty of road construction in metro Atlanta. Here's a look at some of the work that could affect your travel plans, courtesy of the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Atlanta

One westbound curb lane will be closed from 7 a.m. Friday to noon Sunday on Trinity Avenue in in front of Atlanta City Hall, from Washington Street SW to Central Avenue.

Two lanes will be closed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on Peachtree Road from Palisades Road to 26th Street.

I-75

Two southbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday from Woodstock Road to Hickory Grove Road.

Two southbound lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday from Allgood Road to North Marietta Parkway.

Three southbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday from South Marietta Parkway to Delk Road.

The southbound entrance ramp at South Marietta Parkway will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

One northbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday from Pine Street to Spring Street.

One northbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday from Jonesboro Road to Jodeco Road.

I-20

One eastbound and one westbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday from Salem Road to Almon Road.

I-85

One northbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday from Gravel Springs Road to Hamilton Mill Road.

I-285

One westbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday from Cumberland Boulevard to Cobb Parkway.

One northbound lane will be closed from noon Friday to 5 a.m. Monday from Cobb Drive to Hollowell Parkway.

The northbound exit at Bolton Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
