MARTA wants your feedback on Atlanta expansion

MARTA has proposed 21 miles of light rail, 18 miles of bus rapid transit and other improvements.

MARTA recently unveiled a staff recommendation for how to spend $2.5 billion expected to be raised by a half-penny sales tax Atlanta voters approved in 2016.

The plan calls for 21 miles of light rail, 18 miles of bus rapid transit lines and other transit improvements in the city. Among other things, it includes the Clifton Corridor light rail line from Lindbergh Station to the Emory/CDC area and a third of the proposed Atlanta Beltline loop (you can learn more details here and see which projects didn't make the cut here).
