Good news for those driving inside the perimeter this weekend: You won't have nearly as much traffic as you think.

Unfortunately for drivers in Cobb County, express-lanes work could have you sitting in traffic overnight.

Here are your trouble spots:

Northwest Corridor Express Lanes

I-575

One northbound lane will close between Alabama Road and Ridgewalk Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

One southbound lane will close between Sixes Road and Ridgewalk Parkway from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

One southbound lane will close between Bells Ferry Road and Chastain Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

One southbound lane will close between Shallowford and Bells Ferry roads from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

I-75

One northbound lane will close between Mt. Paran Road and Cumberland Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

One northbound lane will close between Barrett Parkway and Big Shanty Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

One northbound lane will close between Frey and Wade Green roads from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

At least one northbound lane will close between Bells Ferry Road and Barrett Parkway from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

Two southbound lanes will close between Cumberland Boulevard and Mt. Paran Road from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

Two southbound lanes will close between South Marietta Parkway and Delk Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

At least one southbound lane will close between Barrett Parkway and the I-575/I-75 split from 8 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday.

South Metro Express Lanes

Two southbound lanes will close from I-675 to Hudson Bridge Road/Eagles Landing Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.

Two southbound lanes will close between Lake Spivey Road and I-675 from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.

Two northbound lanes will close between Hudson Bridge Road/Eagles Landing Parkway to I-675 from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.

Two northbound lanes will close between Lake Spivey Road and I-675 from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday.

I-85

Two lanes will close at Virginia Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

I-20

The Liberty Road entrance and exit ramps will close from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday.

I-285

Two lanes will close between Jonesboro Road and I-75 from 9 .m. Friday to noon Saturday.

One lane will close between Moreland Avenue and the I-75 exit from 9 p.m. Friday to midnight Saturday.

One lane will close between Jonesboro Road and Moreland Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to midnight Saturday.

Other State Routes

Roads will close between 26th Street and Palisades Road along Peachtree Street from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.

Two lanes will close between the I-675 interchange and Lake Spivey Parkway from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge work.
