The Bethelview Road project will focus on widening the roadway, adding a raised median and turn lanes along the segment between Castleberry Road and Ga. Highway 20. It will cost $36.9 million and be completed by July 2019. The project includes the construction of a bridge over Big Creek.

Since January, Georgia DOT has awarded 115 major construction contracts valued at more than $464 million.
