A certain group of dedicated 2 Chainz fans faces a tough decision this weekend - one that might have them skipping his much-anticipated concert.

The Atlanta rapper, known for his charitable outreach, his snappy "Dabbin' Santa" sweaters and heartfelt appreciation of his fans, takes the stage at the Carolina Union Activities Board's annual Jubilee concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at Carmichael Arena, on the University of North Carolina campus in Chapel Hill.

This fan's post is doubly appropriate. Carmichael, where 2 Chainz will perform, was where the men's basketball team played pre-Dean Dome. So many of those dynamic photos and video clips you've seen of #23 when he wore Carolina Blue took place there.

The agony is real.

Anguished students tell the Daily Tar Heel they're torn at having to choose.

"I really wanted to go the concert, but I'm probably going to skip it now," first-year student  Katie Forbidussi said.

Senior Conner Nevel is hoping the show might get moved up to avoid the spectacle of fans leaving while Chainz is still performing:  "I think a lot of people are planning on skipping the concert or leaving when the game starts, which is what I plan to do. That would be embarrassing for everyone involved, so moving back the start time of the concert would let students attend both."

The organizers are sort of stuck. Saturday was the only date available, and moving the show time up doesn't sound feasible.
