Who's ready for "Black Panther 2?"

The Atlanta-filmed Marvel blockbuster, which now has crossed the billion-dollar mark, was released nearly a month ago but the buzz isn't dying down at all.

One member of the incredible cast, Forrest Whitaker, talked about what a sequel might mean for him. (Spoiler alert: stop here if you haven't seen the movie yet!)

Whitaker's character Zuri is a loyal attendant of lead character T'Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman. T'Challa, who ascends to the role of King of Wakanda/Black Panther following his father's death, would be available for a sequel. Zuri wasn't so fortunate.

Still, as "Black Panther" featured scenes that took place in a mystical location where T'Challa communes with his ancestors' spirits, there could be a place for Zuri in future projects.

"I guess I would be like an Obi Wan Kenobi or something, who comes back and talks from the ancestral plane to give advice to T'Challa, Chadwick's character," Whitaker told Entertainment Tonight during the red carpet for "The Forgiven."

He hailed both Boseman and director Ryan Coogler, adding: "I'm so proud to be in it."
