Donald Trump's election this week sparked protests in a number of cities, and a celebrity contingent.

Lady Gaga staged a solo protest at Trump Tower, posing for the above image that she posted in Instagram. "He divided us so carelessly," she wrote. "Let's take care now of each other."

Cher joined marchers in New York and posted several updates via Twitter.

Cher seems particularly incensed at Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and the Green Party's Jill Stein.

Miley Cyrus posted a tearful video after Trump was declared the victor. "I've been very vocal about my support for everyone besides Donald Trump. I heavily supported Bernie, I heavily supported Hillary. I still think that in her lifetime she deserves to be the first female president and that's what makes me so sad .. She's fought for so long. I believe her when she says she loves this country."

She later announced a new initiative:

T.I. posted this short video clip of himself surrounded by protesters chanting "We reject the president-elect."
