That's a wrap on Clint Eastwood's latest Atlanta movie

Clint Eastwood is done with his latest Atlanta-filmed movie, “The 15:17 to Paris.” It’s based on the nonfiction book by the same name, about Americans who thwarted a terrorist strike on a train headed from Brussels to Paris.

Eastwood, who filmed “Sully” and “Trouble with the Curve” here in the recent past (and “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” years ago in Savannah) ran into area resident Lisa Karesh on Saturday morning at the Buckhead Whole Foods and posed for the photo below. Then he celebrated the successful shoot with a farewell party at Bar Amalfi.

That’s part of Giovanni Di Palma’s popular culinary compound, which includes Antico Pizza and Gio’s Chicken and attracts visiting celebrities like moths to a wood-burning oven. Eastwood is shown above with Gio's son Johnny.
