Sean "Diddy" Combs yanked out an IV right before an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" during which he sipped tequila and said he faced "false lawsuits" as a result of his vast wealth.
"I just lost a lot of blood back there," he said, his head drooping at one point. It wasn't clear what the IV had been for but he suggested that a rigorous tour schedule had him flagging a bit.
He seemed to rally after he opened a bottle of vodka and took a sip, then talked about his philanthropic endeavors. Ellen congratulated him for being tops on the list of Forbes' wealthiest hip-hop artists, but Combs said he had written the magazine a letter, asking to be taken off in the future.
"I get a lot of false lawsuits," as a result of being perceived as wealthy, he said. "I don’t want to be on those lists. I want to be able to give money to people that need it."
Ellen then noted his $1 million gift to Howard University, his alma mater.
