Our cuteness prayers have been answered.

Word came very early Wednesday morning (well, early here in the Colonies) that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be in the official wedding party when their uncle, Prince Harry, marries American Meghan Markle on Saturday.

For millions of royal gakwers worldwide, it promises a delightful reprise of last June's scenes when George pulled on gold satin pantaloons and Charlotte wore a frilly dress with a bow as big as her head to be in their aunt Pippa Middleton's wedding party (and George got a bit of a scolding from his mom, Duchess Kate, for acting up outside the church).

It may also go a good long way toward easing some of the royal pains over Meghan's family woes. After all, who cares who's giving her away when she'll be preceded down the aisle by six teeny bridesmaids and four wee pageboys?

Besides Charlotte, who just turned three, the bridesmaids include two goddaughters each of Meghan and Harry and range in age from two to seven. Joining four-year-old George as page boys are a six-year-old godson of Harry's and the seven-year-old twin sons of Meghan's good friend, Canadian fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney.
