T.I., Killer Mike team with Fox Sports Southeast to promote the Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta rapper and actor T.I. will team up with Fox Sports Southeast to promote the Atlanta Hawks, the network announced.

The new campaign launching on Fox Sports Go features the track "Top Back" from the album "King." Fox Sports Go, is a free app that provides live streaming video and other programming during the season. Hip hop recording artist Killer Mike makes a guest appearance in the campaign.

"As a sports fan and a supporter of all of our Atlanta teams including the Hawks, I take great pride in representing the city on the Fox Sports Go platform and shining the spotlight on the Hawks franchise and its players," said T.I., aka Clifford Harris Jr., in a statement.

The promotional spots, filmed in Atlanta at the Swag Shop on Edgewood Avenue (owned by Killer Mike), will debut Oct. 27 during the telecast of the Hawks season opener against the Washington Wizards. The game will be televised exclusively on Fox Sports Southeast with live streaming on FOX Sports Go.

Fox Sports Southeast and T.I. also will debut a series of promotional spots highlighting the network’s exclusive regional coverage of the Hawks, one of the entertainer’s favorite teams.

Tip joins Flo Rida, Dierks Bentley, Kid Ink and John Smoltz on the growing list of music artists and athletes to appear in a Fox Sports Go campaign.
