Instead of a third segment on Sept. 25, CBS will air "NCIS: Los Angeles," the report said.

JonBenét was 6 when her lifeless body was discovered in her family's Boulder, Colo. and the sensational case dominated headlines for months on end.

The child beauty queen was buried in Marietta, where her mother, Patsy Ramsey, was buried in 2006 after dying of cancer. The 20th anniversary of JonBenét's death has sparked renewed interest in the case, and may explain why a supermarket tabloid recently ran this headline in huge, bold letters.

A much hyped three-part interview with JonBenét's brother, Burke, began airing Monday on the Dr. Phil show .

"Speaking out publicly for the first time, JonBenet's 29-year-old brother, Burke, reveals what he knows about his sister's mysterious murder in a ripped-from-the-headlines exclusive interview with Dr. Phil," the show said in a publicity statement. "After 20 years, it's finally time for answers."

I watched the first segment, where Burke and his dad, John Ramsey, revisited the tragic case in between copious commercial breaks and staged reenactment clips augmented with horror-movie music. I didn't detect any huge new revelations, but haven't seen the Tuesday clip yet. The third part airs Sept. 19.
