Whiskey Bird restaurant in the Morningside Village is now open.  Anthony Vipond and Chef Chad Crete, formerly of Iberian Pig,  partnered to create a spot that focuses on Japanese tapas.

The menu is comprised of small plates that include yakitori (skweres of grilled chicken and other meats and veggies), Hong Kong sliders and gyoza tacos, along with a selection of larger entrée size portions, such as the 72-hour rib-eye and grilled ahi tuna, and a selection of vegetables including whole roasted cauliflower, Vipond confirmed in an email. Cocktails and a healthy variety of whiskeys will also be available for customers to choose from.
