Cookbook dinner with father-daughter authors. Test your trivia knowledge and win prizes. There are several fun, food events happening in Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Wednesday, July 26: Father-daughter duo and authors of the cookbook "Praise the Lard: Recipes and Revelations from a Legendary Life in Barbecue" will host a dinner with cookbook recipes at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q . Tickets, which are $35, will include dinner, cocktails and wine pairings. Diners will be able to purchase signed copies of "Praise the Lard" as well.

Every Wednesday: How smart are you? Smokebelly BBQ hosts trivia night at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday. First through third place winners can receive $20 - $50 in-house cash prizes. Select drafts are $3.

Thursday, July 27: One Eared Stag will host a reception and four-course beer dinner with Arches Brewery. The reception will be held from 6:30-7:15 p.m.; dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. Each course will be paired with a specialty beer from Arches Brewery. Tickets, which are $60, can be purchased here.

Sunday, July 30: If you can't make it to France to celebrate Fêtes De Bayonne, a five-day festival featuring music, dancing, street festivals, fireworks, cow races, bull fighting and games, enjoy the festivities in Atlanta at Cooks & Soldiers . The Midtown restaurant will offer a Fêtes De Bayonne-inspired menu with specialty dishes such as King Leo salad made with charcuterie, melon and stuffed piquillo crab; bell pepper omelet; and millefeuille for dessert in addition to the restaurant's regular menu from 2-8 p.m. Drinks will include kalimotxo made with red wine and Coca-Cola and Pastis on the rocks. All items will be available a la carte.
