“Top Chef” judge signs books at Ponce City Market, beer dinner and more in metro Atlanta this week

Book signing at Ponce City Market. Beer dinner. There are several fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta, so add one or all three of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Tuesday, Jan. 23: For a special four-course beer dinner with  Eventide Brewing, head to Double Zero at 6:30 p.m. Executive chef Edwin Molina will serve seasonal specials such as oysters on the half shell with a Kolsch mignonette and pork cheek ragu paired with local brews including Baltic Porter and Highlander Barrel Aged Scotch Ale. Tickets are $59.

Wednesday, Jan. 24: Enjoy cocktails and canapés followed by a three-course dinner and candy and cordial to end the evening during Better Half 's Pushstart dinner, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $85 and inclusive of wine pairings. Thursday, Jan. 25: "Top Chef" judge, restaurateur and chef Hugh Acheson will celebrate his latest cookbook, "The Chef and the Slow Cooker" at Ponce City Market from 6-8 p.m. Tickets, which are $30, can be purchased here and includes a copy of the book and signed photo.
